Ok, I have a boatload to do in the next 14 hours, so a super fast update. (And yes, I am considering making all future post names pop song titles..)
But the Mammoprint came back! And it came back saying that the tumor was risky (which was expected), but not super risky. So that was good news because I can do the TC protocol rather than the AC-T. Or as I’ve been referring to it informally: the shorter, less even version of chemo. It will be four infusions, three weeks apart.
And we start tomorrow! That is causing a wee bit of 24-hour stress to get ready, but overall the timing is actually better for a lot of reasons. And it is started. The sooner I start, the sooner I finish. (And I know many of you have asked how to help, but we will circle back there–after we through tomorrow, so hold tight!)
So, yes, it’s time to go!

Glad you are getting started as it is that much sooner you will be done. Sevy and I have been thinking and talking about you lately. Have my knee replacement on 8/15 and saw toe surgery on Nov. 1. Che and kids coming 10/15. Hope you are up to coming down for a weekend. We miss you guys and trying to have some fun things for the cousins to do together and an asado y wine promised.
