Or Happy Anniversary to me! Today is the one year anniversary of my breast cancer diagnosis. To celebrate, I get one last surgery!
It’s a simple in-office procedure but I did my best to get it done within the one-year! For why I need it: basically, the plastic surgeon overestimated the damage radiation would do to my skin when moving the tissue around. The radiation did a little less damage than expected so now I have some excess tissue under my arm and it’s annoying.
So time to get rid of it!
Update: I wrote this before the procedure. It all went very well.
Picture explanation: An ice cream cake the kids requested and we bought to “celebrate” the six-month anniversary of COVID lockdown.
